What it lets us do: design, tune and support Redis deployments for performance, high availability, clustering and security, with 24/7 coverage.
What a VMware partner quotes, and where the Broadcom partner program fits
Broadcom runs its partner program through an ecosystem of Expert Advantage partners, and its directory sorts them into categories such as consulting services, education and VMware cloud service providers. AceMQ sits under consulting services. As a partner we deliver quotes for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware vSphere Foundation subscriptions, and for the products inside them: vSphere, vCenter, vSAN and NSX. Our team counts cores for your data center environment, matches the tier to what you actually run on your private cloud platform, and takes the renewal to Broadcom for you. For VMware, renewals typically go through an authorized partner, and the price is set by the subscription tier, the term and the licensed core count, with a 72-core minimum per order and 16 cores per CPU. Those rules apply whichever partner quotes you, so the useful comparison is the quote itself: ask each partner for one-, three- and five-year terms on the same core count and compare the annual rate. Our analysis of 37 VMware quotes found quotes for the same core count varied widely with tier and term, and that roughly one request in four was an account Broadcom manages directly, which no partner can quote.
For RabbitMQ, a partner quote bundles the licence with support and services under one contract. Buying the Tanzu RabbitMQ subscription through AceMQ means one vendor relationship for licensing and for the 24/7 team that runs and supports it.
What this page does not claim
