What these sessions cover

The Q&A is unscripted and driven by whatever the attendees bring. In practice the questions cluster around the same handful of problems that come up in real engagements:

  • Cluster sizing and quorum queues — how many nodes, when classic mirrored queues stop being an option, and what changes in RabbitMQ 4.x.
  • Version and CVE strategy — which releases still receive security fixes, and the options when an upgrade is not scheduled yet.
  • Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments — operator versus StatefulSet, storage choices, and the failure modes that only appear under load.
  • Licensing — what is free under the Mozilla Public License, what the commercial distribution adds, and how per-core pricing is counted across environments.
  • Migrations — moving from IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or a managed broker, and the parts of that work that routinely get underestimated.

Who runs them, and the format

Sessions are led by AceMQ's Senior Enterprise Architects — the same engineers who handle production escalations, not a sales team. They are held online, free to attend, and there is no obligation attached to joining one. Several of the recurring questions are already answered in writing: which RabbitMQ versions are still supported, what a RabbitMQ license costs, and how RabbitMQ support works. For anything specific to your deployment, a direct conversation is usually faster than a live session.
